STUDIO POLICIES: RATES

I charge $50/hr. This rate includes the studio, all the equipment you need to use (guits-amps-keys etc,) and me as engineer. Outside engineers and producers welcome! Rates are open to negotiation in these cases.

CANCELLATIONS

Studio must have 14 days notice of cancellation-otherwise your left pinky finger will be amputated or, you will be charged $200 a day-Hey I got mouths to feed!!!!!.

DEPOSITS

If you book more than one day in a row (lockout)- you must pay $100 per day as deposit- this deposit will be figured against your final damages.

MINIMUM

My minimum charge is $80. No ifs-ands-or butts- if it only takes 30 minutes to do a job- sorry it is still gonna be $80.

START TIME

My clock starts ticking when the session is scheduled to start. If we say 11 am then irregardless of when you get there- the session starts at 11 am. UNLESS- it is an act of a GOD.--- I.E. if Thor smashes your pinky wid his hammer.

TAPE

All that is left is Quantegy and EMTEC which now has a new name RMG international. I don't know if it is in stores yet. GP9 by Quantegy is awesome!- but then so is 456! Call and I'll guide you to the cheapest place to buy it.- ONE PASS TAPE- I often have one pass tape- this is tape that has been used several times and then been de-gaussed. It is perfectly good tape and, is about 1/3 the cost of new tape- great for demos. Call in advance for this service.

TAPE BAKING

This is a service I offer to folks who have tape that is experiencing binder breakdown. If you have Ampex tape(-some other brands also) that is over 5 years old there is a possibility that it might need to be baked, this I can do for you for a nominal fee-if you are going to be working at the studio. If you just want some tape baked, and are going elsewhere to mix it I charge $40 a reel for 2"-$30 a reel for 1" and $20 a reel for 1/4".
